Dualization of social rights in Sweden and beyond

Dualization of social rights in Sweden and beyond

Local copy.

This Stockholm University research project develops a benefit-dualization index to measure differences in social-rights provision between labour-market insiders and outsiders. It treats dualization as a change in the distribution and conditions of protection, which need not be visible in total welfare spending.

The project supplies the empirical research programme behind Welfare-state dualization. It does not itself establish that generational power caused Swedish dualization.
