Nym presents NymVPN as one application with two materially different routes. Fast mode is a two-hop AmneziaWG tunnel for ordinary browsing and streaming. Anonymous mode is a five-hop mixnet route with fixed-size packets, cover traffic, packet mixing, and timing delays.
The pages also document no-email signup, zero-knowledge subscription credentials, cash and cryptocurrency payment options, open-source clients, and support for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. These are vendor descriptions of the current product, not independent proof of the strongest anonymity claims.
