Incogni

Incogni is a subscription service that sends and tracks removal requests to data brokers and people-search sites on a customer’s behalf. The service requires identity and authorization data so that target companies can locate records and recognize the request.

The service can reduce repetitive administrative work, but it cannot force every organization to comply, remove public records, or prevent data from being reacquired. Its dashboard status should therefore be treated as process evidence, not proof that exposure has disappeared everywhere.

Privacy competitors and inspirations compares Incogni with DeleteMe and Optery. The shared trust tradeoff is that a privacy service must itself receive an unusually sensitive identity profile. Redact.dev is the neighboring product for deleting a customer’s own account activity rather than opting them out of brokers.
