Tags

This page offers vocabulary-based views of the maintained wiki. Terms in the cloud and graph link to generated tag pages that list the notes carrying each tag. Both views exclude meta notes so maintenance vocabulary does not distort the subject map. For relationships among notes, use Graphs.

Tag cloud

This cloud orders tags alphabetically and sizes them on a logarithmic scale by the number of notes carrying each tag. The scale exaggerates differences among low- and middle-frequency tags without allowing the most common tag to dominate the view. The small number beside each term is its exact note count.

Complete tag graph

This generated view includes every tag used by a non-meta note. An edge connects two tags when they appear together on at least two notes, and its thickness reflects their co-occurrence count. Isolated tags are retained.

The view is a live force simulation: node size scales with note count, so it combines frequency with tag relationships. Zoom with the mouse wheel, pan by dragging the background, drag a tag to inspect its neighborhood, hover to dim unrelated tags, and click a tag to open its note listing. Tags use their mid-sentence natural form, including hyphens in multi-word tags such as confidential-computing and natural capitalization in abbreviations such as VPN.

The complete tag graph has “Fit” and fullscreen controls in addition to wheel zoom and drag panning. The tag cloud is the quieter entry point when the graph is too dense for the question at hand.
